I used to be able to laugh with you,
But now it seems I don't.
We could try and talk this over,
But deep inside I know you won't.

You were such a good friend to me,
Why you changed, no one did know.
Day by day, you got worse,
And my pain did start to show.

No one can trust you anymore,
You're full of secrets, tales and lies.
I find it harder to look at you,
And search beyond those haunting eyes.

I don't know you anymore,
You're not so kind deep inside.
So it seems all is lost,
And our memories are sad goodbyes.

I don't want to lose you forever you know,
Did our friendship really lack?
I guess I can't do anything now,
For you've already turned your back.
