Did you feel like a man when you made her cry?
Oblivious to her trembling lips - to the tears that stung her eyes.
Not once could you apologise - ignoring her eyes of red,
And grinning like a cat:
"I just miss you" you'd said.

Oblivious to her loyalty - suggesting she was filled with lust.
Not once could you apologise - ignoring her heart of dread,
And smiling like a fox:
"I just miss you" you'd said.

Oblivious to where it landed - breaking her things without care.
Not once could you apologise - ignoring her when she pled,
And eyes shining like a beast:
"I just miss you" you'd said.

Oblivious to her pain - to her tragic fall from grace.
Not once could you apologise - ignoring her body, bruised and dead.
And fangs unsheathed like a monster:
"I just miss you" you'd said.
